Wine Industry Innovation

One of the many reasons I chose the name LeftRight was to pay homage to the Left and Right Banks of Bordeaux, a region known for beautifully balanced wines. Wine has grown from a hobby to a passion for me over the last decade and I truly enjoy sharing that passion with others.   

The wine industry is a living ecosystem, from the vines in the ground to the wine in the glass. It is a vast and complex industry with many stakeholders throughout cultivation, vinification, distribution and consumption. As we look at the industry holistically, our primary focus can be distilled down to a desire to increase wine consumption in the United States, responsibly, to levels more in-line with Europe. We believe that, in and of itself, benefits the whole wine ecosystem.   

With the goal of increasing US wine consumption, we are focusing our efforts on applications and strategies within the following macro themes:

1. Innovation in distribution and inventory management

2. Wine education for consumers

3. Private investment strategy to provide capital to producers and mitigate risk
